We are proud to announce the 2nd single off of the new Propaganda and ProducerTrentTaylor album is here. “Don’t It Feel Good” can be found on all streaming services and the video is all the way up now on YouTube. The track features Derek Minor on the 2nd verse over smooth production from Trent. Any fans of Prop and Derek know what they’re in for when these guys connect but this is their first time in the trenches with Trent and the result is lovely… This is a feel good track fam…
Prop and Trent will be dropping their new album, This is our Fellowship in April on Mid90s Records. Prop and Trent connected back in 2024 while working on Trent’s project with Fashawn, YOU OWE US WITH INTEREST. Propaganda was featured on the track “Toys 4 Tots” which going back and listening now, it is still just as dope today as it was then. Fash and Prop had a sense of urgency with their bars and what’s left behind is a west coast underground hip hop thumper.
Propaganda and Trent Taylor worked on this new album beginning late 2024 and continued working on it over a 9 month period where Trent listened to thousands of gospel records looking for obscure samples so Prop had the perfect sound scape to work with for the project. The result was crazy…. Listen to the first single “Gas You Up” and let me know if it makes you feel something… That is Danny Thomas on the keys from Vallejo, CA from the funk group, Con Funk Shun. You know Con Funk Shun???
Trent and Danny met each other by coincidence in Atlanta and after chatting in Trent’s driveway for a few minutes, they both found out that they made music… Then Trent found out he was talking to an original member of Con Funk Shun… You know they have the key to the city for Vallejo, CA aka the home of Mac Dre and E-40 right? Vallejo rappers looked up to Con Funk Shun and other artists who paved the way for them to later pave their own way in the industry in the early 90s. And here we have Danny Thomas on the keys for the track “Gas You Up” from Prop and Trent.
“Don’t It Feel Good” is out now. Here are the various DSP links for yall. This is good music fam… By good people too… If you dig it, share it with a homie and spread the love. Great messages in this art that can help provide support for anybody going through things or just needs an arm around their shoulder.
