The Rap Songs I Have on Repeat in 2026

January 28, 2026 Tim C.

what have you been bumpin lately? are you hoping that spotify is going to give you something dope? they do… not gonna lie… but where else do you go to learn about new music? oh wait… do you not look for new music anymore? nooooooooooooooooooo! sorry to hear that… but it’s all good… time to find some songs that strike a nerve with you. for me, these are the songs that have come out within the past year or so that I keep on repeat in my headphones, car, laptop at work, etc. out the gate let’s go with joey fatts and vince staples with that track they dropped last year… “Corporate Thuggin’” is the name… really good.

that domo genesis and graymatter project SCRAM! hit for me… Lots of tracks that I listen to on that album but if we’re talking one track i’ve been listening to a lot recently?? “DEYKNOW” is really good… production so clean and then domo kills the whole verse… this just works for me eardrums… you?

i find myself pressing play a lot on lord sko as well. “wonder” is a really dope track starting from that statik selektah beat that is perfect for sko to skate on the track with some bars that are very introspective but oh so dope… his delivery is so good here… wow… go listen to this track now… NOWWWWWWWWWWWWW

that track “free” from little simz just sounds like a grammy award winner… i don’t even know what that means but i listen to this track and it is perfect on a lot of levels… do you hear what i hear? is little simz way big and i’m just way late 2 the party? probably? maybe not? regardless, you need some little simz on that playlist fam.

che noir is somebody that i think should be on all of your playlists. whenever i hear her on her own track or on a feature or on wherever i hear her on i just go, damn… she is cold with it. she really is though… i see a new video drops and i’m locked in with the visuals… the sounds… the everything… che noir to me is one of the best emcees on the rise. the combo right here with 7xvethegenius is nice…. it really is.

you’re not still sleeping on that propaganda and producertrenttaylor track are you? i really hope not… it’s all good though… we got time… go look for “gas you up” wherever you listen to music. really listen to that beat from trent and those keys from danny thomas from con funk shun… then let those prop lyrics hit you… take a seat on this one… grab your coffee and come vibe a bit…

hit-boy and the alchemist with “walk in faith” is a spiritual journey that takes you to church but then takes you up in stars next to orion’s belt… this is maybe the best hip hop beat made of all time? don’t get mad at me… i’m just being real… this is “dmitri” level beat but then we beat drop it for the hit-boy verse… can you imagine this live?

i really like brother tom sos… i don’t know anything about him but he reminds me of some early 2000s underground hip hop artist who could have been signed to def jux or rhymesayers. then he hits the chorus and i knew he was different… go listen to “PRICK” and come back to me… westside gunn on verse 2 was timely and dope over this instrumentation as well… who is on the beat btw? lemme look it up… ahhh… denny laflare… yup… makes sense… he is dope.

how about that new nuglife track? you know… the one with fashawn, odessa kane, and scarub… that track is an adventure and it takes me away to some futuristic samurai type kill bill 4 type shit… each emcee brings a completely different vibe and the production from nug is thorough… this THAT PETRO.

doubling up on the statik production on this article… that track “shoebox money” with sirrealist and coyote is a dope track… visuals are nice too… angles… the edit… the locations… well done all around… go peep the track and the video. you won’t be disappointed.

deante hitchcock always has a song or 3 that end up on repeat for me. “born broke die rich” is the one for me right now… the bounce on the flow… the flow… it all just works.

what about errol holden? you up on him? you should give him a quick listen… it won’t be quick though… you’re gonna recognize the talent and hang out for a bit with him… “allahs perfection” is… well… allahs perfection you know… chef’s kiss on this track.

chris crack anybody? go type in “calling people back hoping they don’t answer” and i guarantee you won’t lose today… no way jose… you are winning if you have this chris crack track on repeat… just remember not to mess up that track name ya heard????

and let’s just end this article on the rap songs i have on repeat in 2026 with spitta aka curren$y aka the dude who has stayed on his vibe like devin the dude for yearsssssss… this first track on the new currensy album stays on repeat since it dropped. so happy that the track is called “chains on top of chains”… perfect title for this level of pimpin…

if you’re diggin the vibes here, head over to my playlist on spotify where i keep adding new tracks in daily… trying to forever stay on top of what is dope. please drop newer hip hop tracks you like in the comments so i can keep adding to this playlist of new hip hop for 2026.
