When you think of the best rap cities, what do you think of? New York and Los Angeles right off the bat but then you have Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Memphis, and Chicago? Does Detroit come right to mind when we talk hip hop cities? It probably doesn’t but it should. Starting with Eminem blowing up in the late 90’s all the way to Boldy James’ run right now we got a long list of dope rappers and producers out of Detroit and Michigan. Let’s take a look at who has had the biggest impact in the scene since the late 90’s.
